|
|
Anyone know how much a taxi fare from Sindaebang (south-west Seoul) to Gimpo airport would cost?
Yeah, I know about the airport limo buses, but I'm prepared to pay for a taxi if there's not a huge difference in price. |

| I would guess around 10,000, give or take. |

Gimpo Airport has its own subway station (Bangwha line, purple).
Unless you are in some diabolical hurry between midnight and 6am, why would anyone take a taxi there. |

Um, because I don't fancy lugging three suitcases around the Seoul subway network. |

| No idea, but my guess would be 30k. I think it's about 60 km from Kimpo to ICN, that's a 40 minute drive going at the speed limit. |

Shindaebang to Kimpo is only about 15 kilometers. I seriously doubt it's going to be as high as 30,000 won. |

Oh Kimpo, I should read more carefully. |

| For those who are curious it cost me 17,500 won - and probably would have been a little cheaper if the stupid taxi driver hadn't taken a wrong turn when he arrived at the airport. |

| You can jsut get a call van. They'll give you a flat rate to the airport. Don't have to worry about a high fare due to traffic. They pick you up in a minivan so its plenty of room for your luggage. |

For future reference, do you know the numbers of these call vans? |

| Ditto ... none of my hagwon colleagues knew of their existence, they said I would have to take a taxi or an airport limo bus. |
