so, I was presented a contract recently from a kindy if I wanted to work for them. suprisingly enough on the contract it says u dont need a university degree to recieve an e2 from a kindergarten.
I have been on E2 with other schools, but I have some friends who might want to teach here who dont have their university degrees..
anyone know of any new regulations with kindy? i thought this was interesting |

Korean Kindergarten's can't have people legally with an E2 visa ... but approved English Language Schools who have kindergarten classes can.
There is no difference in E2 visas that will allow hagwons of any kind to employ pople on E2 visa's to people who do not have degrees from the currently approved countries.
The changes mentioned in the media this week re people from other countries (outside the current list) being able to get E2 visas (if the meet the other special conditions) only applies to jobs in Public Schools not to hagwons. |

This is precisely what immigration told me about 6 years ago when I sought to have a morning kindy job added as a second job on my E-2. |
