In my two years here, being a bibliophile, i've accumulated a nice collection of books. I'm tired of buying new ones and its hard to organize book swaps. I found www.bookmooch.com and I think it will allow expats in Korea to trade books, with each other, and others from around the world.

It's pretty simple. You send books, get points, and use those points to receive books. These books are going all over the world. You can look up, by country, what books are listed. Right now, I have 8 listed under South Korea. If I send a book overseas, I get 3 points. If I want a book from another country, it costs me 2 points. Books in-country are 1 point. Pretty simple, eh?

Go to the Wolfhound Pub in Itaewon. Good fish and chips and good beer
plus the free book exchange. I just dropped off about 10 books there
last weekend.

The USO also has a free book exchange as does the British Embassy's
Broughton Club. (But you have to be a member of the Broughton Club
and I don't think they accept English teachers. If that is what you are)
However, anyone can go to the USO. Good food too.

Why not list what books you have here? The cost of shipping overseas is a bit much from Korea, and might prevent others from shippoing here. I'm sure enough people on Daves have books to trade to make it fly. There was a thread in the buy and sell forum a couple months ago that showed promise till it was derailed by someone hailing Bookcrossing.com. (a good program by the way, just not focused on swapping.)
