The subject title was a joke. As I was browsing through the job section I came across this advertisement, looking for an English speaking vice principal, teachers and other staff. I had a look at the website out of curiousity, and couldn't help but laugh at the video on the website. Let me know what you think. The whole thing confuses and annoys me to no end. A bit too stiff and perfect for me. I think it's been open for quite a while now. I wonder how popular it is.

The web seems rather silent about this one, but it's part of a large scale development near Busan. They are turning a bunch of farms into Myeongji International City, planned as part of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone, is in the embryonic stage, but the authorities have big plans for this 1.7-square-mile plot of land.' They are expecting all the big international companies in Busan to move there once it's finished.

A mix between new town, smart park and economic park....so it seems.

A bit odd but interesting. Seems they have plans to try and get foreign people to be a part of it.

Nice post. Thanks.

I used to work in Dadaepo which is where this place is. I know the recruiter who is sponsoring all of these gigs. I did 2 day camps at this place. It's pretty impressive I must admit. I don't know about wanting to go there everyday, its far outside the city with limited bus services. But its a nice gig outside of a hagwon/ps.

Did you mean decrepit?

Quote:
decrepit |dəˌkrɛpət| |diˌkrəpət|
adjective
(of a person) elderly and infirm : a decrepit old drunk. See note at weak .
worn out or ruined because of age or neglect : centuries-old buildings, now decrepit and black with soot.

Not exactly the first word that comes to mind to describe brand-new apartment buildings... but then again, you didn't know how to spell it either. Laughing

maybe I'm referring to the manner of style (or lack thereof) that built these abominations - yes, they are often shiny and new but as for aesthetics and how they blend w/the landscape - they don't. they are sh*tty, bland and nauseating to view. decrepit to me fits the bill.

congrats - you are the first person to ever catch me in a misspelling here. probably cause I'm destressing these days from a very long semester of grad school and just started winter break from my teaching job.

cheers, carry on Cool
