I never go near the meat section at my local Lotte Mart/Emart since I get all my meat from Costco, but is it possible to buy a ham there? I would like to try and cook one for Christmas

I'm not sure about a ham, but I did see a frozen turkey at I love Cookie in Jeongja. Somebody posted these two sites some time ago. You could try ordering a ham.

or this one. I don't know what the deal is with ordering or if that is helpful.

Are you planning to cook a large ham? I wish I had a large oven....

I don't even want to imagine how much they are trying to charge for that. All of their prices recently went up about 20%

True. And it was never cheap to begin with. I've already made plans for turkey dinner so I didn't ask. There is also this place. I have no idea if he does a ham though: Chef Meili Deli and Cafe Restaurant. It is across the alley from Gecko's and the supermarket in Itaewon. He generally cooks to order. You could ask though, if you want to cook it yourself. If he doesn't do hams he may know someone who does. PM me for more info if you're interested.

I've never shopped for a ham at Costco and they don't do much with their site (such as tell you exactly what they sell - what an original idea!), so I'm not much help there I'm afraid.

I was in CostCo last weekend and they had small hams (they are the size of a grapefruit). We were trying to decide whether to buy one, but I didn't see how much they were.

They also had turkeys as well and I happened to look at the prices of those. Dear god is that outrageous!
