Somewhere in Gangwondo or Chungcheongnamdo... Hopefully somewhere accessible by train via Seoul Station, though not necessarily on the subway line. Ideas?

Are you trying to get rid of a body or something?

Donghae seems a bit far, it's only a day trip... What about Wonju? Is it nice?

No... of course not, that's crazy.

I just stuff those into a sewer drain five minutes from my house.

Gongju, 공주

Its 90 minutes by bus from the express bus terminal. There is a museum, a fortress and about a 10k taxi ride out is a cool giant buddah temple at songoksa (sp? maybe Song-gok-sa but i cant remember exactaly).

gongju is perfect. so many quiet places here; donghaksa, gapsa, the gem river, yes, there is also the museum.

get on a bus and go to the gongju bus terminal. you can pick up brochures and tourist maps there.

there are stories of bodies sighted upstream, but water levels are up now so you might be ok...

Well you said Gangwondo, so that was the first place I thought of.

The islands near Incheon. Take the airport shuttle bus then a taxi to a ferry. Sorry, I don't remember the names of the island that I went to, though.

I think that's where we'll go. Is there a bus from Suwon?

Thanks Smile

My friend and I went to 공주 on Sunday. Had a good time and did a lot of walking. We crossed the bridge opposite the bus station and made our way around the walled park, then down into the pretty little town beside it.

The fresh air was needed.
