there's one Apple Service centre near Coex mall, and another one in Yongsan... check the Apple website for exact location and map.
I went to the one in Yongsan, the guy spoke good English. |

Not to be discouraging, but a G4 Ibook is several years old and the cost of replacing the screen might be above the current market value of the unit. I wonder how difficult a screen replacement is? An alternative might be to buy a used screen on Ebay and pop it in yourself. This would cost a fraction of what a repair shop would cost.
Here are instructions for do-it-yourself-ers.

Holy crap, I thought I was the only one with a G4 laying around.
Like Trevor said, the G4's are 4ish years old and are probably not even a blip on Apple's radar at this point. Your best bet is to drop a grand and get a new Macbook, or if you're into paying what something is worth - rather than for the image - you could pick up an equivalent laptop from another company for half the price.
I'm assuming, since you're still using a G4, that you don't tax your comp too much. I'd suggest picking up a cheapy little netbook, like an EeePC or a Dell Mini9. They're tiny, light, portable and will blow your G4 out of the water as far as performance. |

If you cover shipping I'll give you my Powerbook G4 [12" model] that the m/b died in. The screen is fine, so is everything else inside (except I took the HDD out and now use it as an external drive).
The Apple repair place in Yongsan is where I would recommend you go. If you visit them and explain the problem, get an estimate. for a replacement screen Then ask how much to swap out the screen in my PB (presuming it's the same size & will work OK).
If you check with them first and they say it's do-able then PM me and we can arrange sending the PB. I figure no more than 10,000 won to get it to you ~ I don't live anywhere near Seoul, so it would have to be mailed.
Cheers, and merry Christmas,

OP, you should look up Apple's repair center list. It's on the Apple website, do a search. I go to a place at Chungmuro station. |

My screen on my 15" G4 powerbook needed replacing. Cost for Apple to do it was $600 or so. Shipping it off to an authorized repair $400(in the US).
I ended up buying a used screen on ebay for $125 and then paid a guy $50 to install it. Screens are not cheap fixes - good luck. |
