What are the latest "must hear" Korean songs in 2003? Ive been out of the K Pop loop for the last two years. Which songs do you like?

The bald guy from "Clon" just released an album on his own... he has this single where he's dancing around with people in military uniform. One of the dumbest song/video/dance combinations I've ever seen in my life.

Only about 2 or 3 good K-pop songs out at the moment, although I might be a little overly picky about music, as I used to spin...

Easiest way to hear the 'best' of the new Korean music around at the moment is to go on over to BugsMusic and check out the stuff in the Top 100 section.

And let us not forget that the dark era, that being the Korean ballad that dominates the landscape, is now drawing to a close. No longer will wonderful stars like Lee Jung Hyun and Coyotae be drowned out in a sea of ballads, for their Japanese compatriats of similiar genres lead by the sexy and awe inspiring Ayumi Hamasaki have now been authorized to join them in Korea. The age of musical enlightenment is now upon us.

Beats me, I can't be bothered to spend the time figuring it out.

With an R.E.M. best-of album out, who wants to be listening to mindless K-pop?

Ah well, at least the better techno here is finally acquiring some soul...

For all your intelligent retoric that is the most intelligent thing you have ever said Gord. Very Happy
She is awesome. Her songs kick the crap out of anything here(especially the dancier ones). Also, for good J-Pop check out Globe. I look at bugs for the J-Pop, not the K-pop.
Korean pop music has had a bad year.
