I was thinking of taking some U.s. cash and using my plus/interact card from Canada. Do Canadian atm cards work in the Philippines?

AS long as it has the cirrus or maestro logo you will be fine.

I don't know of any banks here in the Philippines on the PLUS network and interac is ONLY in Canada (domestic).

There are a few banks on the VISA network but by and large the majority are on the cirrus/maestro network (as well as a couple of domestic networks).

Better have an alternative to your Canadian card.

Plus will work with Metrobank.

Yes. I use my American one all the time. Pretty much ALL international credit cards work in the Philippines.

The only exception is the Korean ones owned by foreigners living and working in Korea. The Korean government implemented laws to make it impossible for us with Korean credit cards or ATM cards to use outside of Korea.
