Anyone following the story? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081227/ap_on_re_us/santa_shooting
Kinda crazy...he went to his ex-wife's family and shot an 8-year-old girl in the face, before going on a killing rampage on them.
Apparently bitter divorce, lost job. This is amazing: In June, the court ordered him to pay $1,785 a month in spousal support! What in the hell? |

That sounds excessive. However, California is a state where the cost of living is rather high in so many places. This person obviously wasn't stable if he thought he could commit such murders and fly to Canada. He was very intelligent, had some good qualities, it appears, but somehow he lost it, and the divorce was horrible for him. No matter what they did to him or he feels they did to him, it doesn't justify this. Too many people are murdering people over slights. |
