Daegu University of Foreign Studies.
Daegu Haany University
Both out in Gyeongsan, no housing on offer but seem like very good vacation offered (4/5 months) and low number of hours (9-12).
Anyone work there or know someone who works there?
Much obliged. |

I don't know specifically about those universities, but I can tell you about the Gyeongsang area. It's most university students in Orange Town, which is where I lived. There is a pretty good size grocery store in the area (it is a family grocery store not EMart, HomePlus or HomeEver). Lots of resturants and bars. The nearest large grocery store would be about a 10-15 min bus ride. It takes about 45 mins to get to downtown, although now there is actually a subway line which you could take a bus to and transfer which might be quicker. There are some farms out that way and I remember a couple of big crop fields near where I lived. |

Gyeongsan is a pretty cool area, I think. I have met people who taught at Daegu Haany, they all seemed to like it. |

I don't know why, but a lot of the best Korean friends I've made over the years came from Daegu. |
