Whilst in Korea I had satellite tv provided by my school, which was uniformly crud. Pretty much nothing worth watching, unless you enjoyed seeing the same English movie 30 days until it changed to a new one...for 30 days.
In Laos basic cable (50 cents a month) includes ESPN, AllStar Sports, HBO, AllStar Movies, CNN International, BBC International, CNNBC, The Discovery Network, and four other networks that are half English and half German, Russian, Korean or Japanese. I see NFL, NBA, MLB, and European Soccer games live. I watched the Ole Miss vs Texas Tech. game yesterday...fantastic game. I get Monday Night Football (Tuesday morning) but it's live. And, my favourite, F1 racing is live, every race.
So...what are ya watchin' on K-tv ????? Seems a lot of people are asking where to watch whatever.....

So you are here to watch TV? Live a little, get out.
At any rate, I get 4 movie channels that switch from English to Korean. Disney, Cnn, BBCWorld, NBC News, Autralian Network, Discovery, and a channel called Fox, which plays American shows quite often. I get the package, including internet for 33,000 won.
Also, I have slingbox, so I can stream from North America. And there are many site that show tv shows live. try www.justin.tv.com they have movies, sports and yout regular girls doing strirp trsases. |
