If you go skiing or snowboarding, post the snow and resort conditions here.
I'm considering going snowboarding next week and want to know if any resorts have black diamond runs open or if only green family-style runs are open.
Also, I want to avoid ice. Yongpyong last year was horrible, I'm never going back.
So who has the weekend snow report? |

Good question.
I'm keen to know where's good over the next soon-while.
Anyone brave the crazy crowds recently?
Anyone carve any fresh powder just the other day? |

Hi,
I've been boarding at High 1 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Yesterday was relatively quiet (the weekend before there were 30 minute queues for every lift!) The snow was reasonable, a little sticky in places and there are some icy patches but it's not too bad. They've just opened 3 more runs (2 expert 1 advances) and they've also opened a half pipe too!
Hope this helps,
Steve. |

Any reports for places good for beginners? (still has fluffy snow/not long lines/not so steep courses :p)
Accounting dude in my school goes to some mountain in Gangwando every weekend/break (season pass) but he's obviously way above my level so I'm a bit lost as to where to go! |
