I think this was part of a reality show where two ad agencies make up 'ads for unlikely situations' ...the other one I remember was that they should invade NZ so that they could have another holiday....
Something the invasion would be over by noon back for a barbie and then they could have one every year after that... |

Yeah, they're a few months old now I think. And to tell you the truth, it's not a bad idea; I wouldn't mind being invaded by Oz too much if it meant we got an extra public holiday.
I'd trade my national pride for another long weekend |

Happened the other way around, I'm afraid. Have you ever tried to go pick up your dole cheque in Bondi without hearing a range of murdered vowels? |

It's off a show called 'The Gruen Transfer', and Andrew Denton project with Will Anderson as the host. Each episode looks at the advertising agency and how it works. Including two agencies facing off with something unusual as a topic. Was good fun, I think it's coming back on next year... |

i lived there on and off for 5 years and found it hard to understand them - and I'm a native speaker of the bloody language!
there is a movie out now, "Australia" and they hope to increase the number of tourists to the island, which have remained at about 5 million a year since 2000.
apparently the movie sucks. |

Everybody knows you ony need to understand 5 words to speak with an Australian: beer, pies, footy, shielas, dole. |
