# of people that can call Korean ESL Recruiting their profession?
They don't have to be Korean, they just have to be recruiters for Korean ESL positions... |

My Dave's ESL Cafe Korean Job Post RSS Feed filters out (very roughly) about 80%~90% of recruiter job posts on Dave's.
The block list currently contains more than 100 recruiter names that I've vetted & entered manually. |

And we thank you for it! Before you wrote that script, the job board was a pain. You also did the search for Dave's via google, right? |

It's always nice to hear that people are getting good use out of these tools, thank you.
I have just now updated my Greasemonkey userscript to block more than 130 recruiters, including the newest ones that have popped up from the past 45 days or so. The Recruiter-less RSS feed has also been updated in the same way.
Yes, I also did the custom Dave's Google Search.
Happy ESLCafeing!

Wow, awsome.
They REALLY need to be stickied at the top of this forum.
I LOVE the filtered RSS feed, and omg, I NEVER thought I'd actually be able to "search" Dave's!
Great job. |

Probably 1000s upon 1000s.
Not sure if its the same now, but ten years ago, each recruiter would get $1,000 for every foreigner they got to sign the contract to come over here.
It seems like every tom, dick and harry (both foreigner and korean) has put their hand into the recruiter business because of it. |

That is a great tool to use but I highly doubt it will become a sticky.
Recruiting agencies spend a lot of money to place their job ads on this site. |

Thanks for the info, Tiger Beer.
It's difficult for me to estimate the ratio of teachers/recruiters that post on this forum. Two posters just identified themselves as footprints recruiters on pages 2 and 4 of this thread: http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=142945&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Over the course of 6 months, 75% of posters report being screwed over for money by their K-Boss http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=129843 I don't know how many of the posters that voted in the thread are teachers and/or recruiters. |

It's K-land... even Footprints can call themselves a recruiter (and they're right). |
