Yeah, I made a link about it in Technology a few days ago.
I don't know why, but there are absolutely no torrents on the internet for that movie. I've tried several torrent sites, I even went to the massive Chinese sites that host tonnes of new films in streaming formats and they didn't have it either. The movie didn't make it on the internet.
Hopefully we'll see a copy turn up soon. I want to see it too.
It's possible that the limited screening in the US had something to do with it. |

Piratebay has a working torrent of it in its top 100 movies section now.
This was a bugger of a torrent, that's for sure... the movie was out a heck of a long time before it was put online. |

if you search for it on scrapetorrent.com you can find a ton of sites that have it.
Just my personal opinion, but the only movie in 2008 worse than "Religulous" was "Expelled" |

Do any of you know a website that clearly explains the whole process of downloading/using torrents? |

I found Bill to be trying to provoke and upset the people he was interviewing. It wasn't as intelligent a movie as I thought it would be. Still pretty eye-opening to see the ideas and opinions of those with really strong beliefs though.
I watched it on the plane from Tokyo to Detroit. It's a good flick for entertainment's sake, that's about it. |

I like Utorrent as a downloading program. If you go to utorrent.com, there will be an FAQ that should set you up pretty well. Then, after you have utorrent or bittorrent or some other downloader installed on your computer, you can go to public sites like ISOhunt.com, or piratebay.net (NOT piratebay.com!!) to find the stuff you want.
Alternately, you could use wikipedia, I bet.
Oh yeah--when you get some files you want to watch, the best player to use is VLC player. It's free to download...google vlc player and you'll find the link.
VLC player plays damn near anything. Mediaplayer, and realplayer, I think, suck, though their latest incarnations are probably better than they were.
One more thing: sometimes you'll download compressed files, and you'll need to unpack them before you can play them. For this I'd recommend winrar, which is also free as far as I know.
They often use compression for really large files, like DVD quality movies, or sometimes even just regular AVI quality ones. Anyway it's no problem to unzip them with winrar. |
