What's the best way to arrange transport of items too large for the public transport system. I thought I'd heard someone mention a "bongo truck"? How much would it reasonably cost to move around 12 metro stops distance??
thanks. |

I've used the Bongo trucks 3 or 4 times. Each time two guys showed up in the truck and loaded up (sofa, TV, desk, chair, suitcases - basically a whole truckload), moved it all to a new place and unloaded.
One time was Gangnam to Bundang, another Mok-dong to Seongsu-Station, that kind of distance.
Each time cost around 150,000. And they brought packaging to protect the TV and stuff. Very fast, efficient service. Get your Korean boss to call and make the arrangements. |

I used a bongo truck to transport a couch from Suji (Bundang) to Jamsil. Cost was 60,000W. A friend of mine had a bunch of his stuff transported a similar distance by a guy with a bongo truck for even less!
Get a Korean friend to call around. |
