Hi, Is anyone here working at Kiemyoung (sp?) university in Daegu, or have any experience with an university entrance English Interview?? My friend has a test/interview to get into a business program, from what i understand its a special program as it's all taught in english. Usually its only for people who excel at tofel but she managed to get to the interview stage without having done this.

Anyway she has to read an article for 20 minutes, then give a summary to the english professors...what I'm wondering is what level articles should we be looking at??? She's been studying articles from Time, but in my opinion they are quite difficult for non-english speakers (even some native speakers can have difficulty) so I am thinking that the article will probably come from one of the english news papers in Korea, eg the Korean herald....

I tried to call the university to ask for some generally advice, but couldn't get through, and she hasn't actually been given any clues-just that its from an article in english. Due to them taking only 50 percent or so of applicants, I'd like to help as much as possible.

So for university english interviews where to people draw the material from??? What kind of things should she be looking at???
