|
|
I'm leaving from Imhak Station on the Incheon Line and it's only 3 stops to Gyeyang Station on the Airport Railroad. That only takes 9 minutes according to online train timetable. Then it's 4 more stops to the airport which they show takes 27 minutes. But when I check the time between Imhak and the airport it shows 54 minutes???
I have to be at the airport for an 8 am flight. Will it really take almost an hour by subway and train? Or do they just show that to cover their arses because of the transfer? I think the whole trip is 3700 Won.
Is a taxi cheaper? Or is there a bus from Imhak? Of course there must be, and I'll check that later, but I'm just checking now to see if anyone is in the know about this. |

Thanks, but I don't have my magic decoder ring to try and figure out what's the best way for me to get to the airport from Imhak Station. The site is less than user friendly.
I'm meeting my recruiter at work tomorrow and we'll figure it out. Plus I'll probably just go to the local bus terminal and ask them and also ask a taxi driver how much it is. Just thought someone might know off the bat... |

You can walk there.
Just leave 48 hours before your flight and you'll be ok. |

That's not a bad idea. Give me your address. Then I'll leave 144 hours before my flight just so I can walk over to your place and thank you in person. |

Yeah, I saw that and it just gives me a headache. I suppose there are numbers I could call, but you know how calling some people goes here.
The only thing I see on that link is going south to Gyesang Stn. on the subway and taking a bus for an hour plus ride to the airport. Maybe I'm missing something, but it's a crappy site. They're not going to tell me the best way to go.
So far, it's subway to Gyeyang fr. Imhak and then the train to the airpot OR a taxi. I'll know more tomorrow. |

Try calling 1330. This is a foreign help line. A friend called them once, and asked what the quickest route was from A to B, and they gave it to them, and then realized they gave them the wrong one, so the help line called her back and gave the right info.
I have heard really good things about this service. |

Ok, I might give it a try. I was fishing here to see if anyone has done it from Imhak or any nearby stations. No biggie.
Thanks |

| Taxi might be quicker if you`Re just going to be on the airport highway and not stuck on the Gangbyeon expressway or in other clogged morning traffic. |
