The opposition later condemned the guards' action as illegal.

Koreans have a "strange" definition of legal / illegal

apparently anything that they LIKE is legal - and anything that they don't like is ILLEGAL

This looks more illegal to me Arrow http://image.chosun.com/sitedata/image/200901/03/2009010300224_1.jpg

If they were having a sit-in, there is an easy solution. Simply lock all doors except the front entrance and use a wall of MPs to effectively blockade them. No food or people in or out. Starve them out. Everyone else not participating in the sit-in (ie. all the other parties and support staff) can go home until it's resolved, a nice paid vacation.

that is almost entirely how laws are made in most countries...those in power get to decide what they like is good and what they don't like is bad.

Good and bad is not the same as legal and illegal.

Good and bad is not the same as legal and illegal.

and if they can push through laws to make the "bad" things illegal they generally do, like say gay marriage in the US..
