| I once saw a poster on here saying that many Korean guys do NOT do give engagement rings. Is this true? I know mostly when I see an engaged Korean girl, she isn't wearing a ring. But I know many western girls only care about a ring. If they tell someone they are engaged and people don't see a ring, they will badger her about where is her ring. I know they have "couple" rings here, but thet are NOT engagement rings, and I don't even see many people doing the couple ring thing. |

Most people we know first do the couple rings,
then do marriage rings (not so much engagement rings given prior to the actual ceremony).
Of course this differs by age--but the "standard" age for marriage
in this country remains fairly constant (late 20's, early early 30's);
therefore, you are likely to find a similar standardization among such successive age groups though not across the board. |
