This is pretty funny. If you can't think of a word to rhyme with another, just use the same one. It's that easy!

Thanks for the laugh Mr marmott.

Do You Know Dokdo?

Written by MOON YOUNG

Sung by SEO HEE

1. Dokdo/ the beautiful islands have been/ parts of Korean land

For the/ last two thousands of years./ they are Korean land

Located in/ the middle of/ East Sea we call.

They comprise/ two main isles/ East and West Islets.

Everybody/ wants to be there/'cause of the holy Sights

Everybody wants to be there/hoping to meet Seagulls.

Yes, nobody is/ greedy for them/'cause of the holy Sights.

But some people/ covet them/that is real/ nonsense!

Korea Korea/ proud to be Koreans.

I'm willing to die/ for the/ peace of /Korea.

Dokdo Dokdo/I'll keep it for my sake.

I love I love/ Dokdo forever

I love I love/ Dokdo forever

2. Dokdo/ the peaceful islands have been/parts of Korean hearts

Since the Shilla/ King Jijung/conquered Usan Land.

Though the long/ war was over/ some ones feel no/ peace yet.

Foolish men/ start to say /silly empty talks.

Korea Korea/ proud to be Koreans.

I'm willing to die/ for the/ peace of /Korea.

Dokdo Dokdo/I'll keep it for my sake.

I love I love/ Dokdo forever

I love I love/ Dokdo forever

I love I love/ Dokdo forever

What a piece of shite. The English sucks, the song isn't in synch with the tune. Dokdo is a holy place?

Shite.

Holy sights that only began to inspire feelings of reverie after the Japanese claimed them as their own. Japanese inspiring holiness, being able to inform Koreans of a holiness previously unexperienced? Does that make them gods to Korea?

I think so.

To be fair, I think there are fishing and or gas rights involved with Dokdo.

I still get a laugh everytime I listen to the song though.

This thread just reminded me that I got asked if I know kimchi again today.

Also, I hate seagulls. Why would anyone want to meet them? Worst bird ever...
