i know this is early, but i'm interested in working for SMOE starting in late august/early september, and hoped someone could shed some light on approximately when people are officially hired, when all documents have to be in by to secure your place, and how SMOE would feel if they found out about an unfinished korean contract.

also, any recommendations on recruiters for SMOE?

thanks

I was hired in late June for an August/Sept start of last year...
From what I've heard, they are interviewing in early Feb. for March positions...

Went through Footprints Recruiting... Ask for Ryan, he was top notch...
(Though with that said my gf had a pretty bad experience with them when she applied a few months after I did [looking for a hagwon job], so its hit or miss depending on who does your running around for you...)

I started the application process in early May and had no issue getting everything handled. There is a lot of BS to do once you are hired, but as long as you give yourself the summer to do it, you will be fine.

^ thanks everyone!

yea, i'll have the summer to get paperwork sorted, however i'll be out of the country for a couple of months (with my passport obviously), so i'm a little worried about having enough time to get my airfare and visa when i get back home.

i think i'll apply earlier just in case!

Anyone know when the semester starts? I think it is in March but don't know if it is early or late March.

Korvia has been posting a bunch lately. People often recommend Joyce.
