| What documentation do you need to show to open a bank account? Also, I'm thinking of going with KEB and trying to get an international debit card. Would anyone recommend an alternative? |

just take your ARC card, address and cell phone #. lacking those three things, take your passport with visa, address of the school and cell phone # of someone you trust (as they will receive texts when you use your card, like a person at my old school did).
that should be enough to get you started. as for the international debit card and stuff, I'm going to KB to open a new account and find that out today |

| I took my passport and ARC card to KEB. I specifically requested a card that would work for ATMs overseas. I was given a Global card which worked in Thailand. |

| Thank you very much! It's a lot easier than I expected (any non-Brit who's tried to open a bank account in the UK knows what I'm talking about). |
