Okay I've been in Canada almost a month waiting for my visa and I just can't wait any longer. I'm renting an apartment I'm not even in. I want to come back to Korea as a tourist and just wait for my number and then run to Japan. I won't work until I return from Japan. Can I do this legally? Will immigration cancel my application if I enter as a tourist. I just want to be with my girlfriend. |

Is this your first E2? If it is, than you have to wait in your own country. If not, than I'm not sure if your visa would be cancelled. I don't see why it would be. |

If it is your first E-2 visa, you can still do a visa run to Japan if your employer verifies your degree through KCUE. |

Why would I be renting an apartment if this is my first visa? I've lived here for two years. I called immi. They seem okay with it. Ticket it bought. Here I come you crazy country. |
