Hi everyone,
Hello!
I'm a newbie who has decided to teach english in Korea. That's the easy part:). I'm trying to decided where to teach. After reading numerous posts, I've decided to go with a public school. The only drawback here is that I only went to high school and college in the US and apparently you need to have middle schoool education in the US in order to be accepted by EPIK. It appears that my public school option is now GEPIK. I'm talking to a recruiter about a position at Pyeongtaek City Girls High School.
I have 2 questions:
1. Does anyone have any experience working here? If so, will you please share with me? Is this a remote area?
2. Gangwon English Language Center- the recruiter says that this English Village is run by the govt and offers the security of a public school contract. Has anyone worked here & what was your experience like? Thanks for your help! |
