Hello everyone,
My brother is visiting at the end of january and I was thinking of taking him to Busan over the Korean new year. Will things be open? For example will Jagalchi fish market be open? Plus is there anything going on for the new year? Fireworks or something?
Thanks for any help!

Transportation might be hard to get because of all the hometown visitors. Better book your KTX in advance. I'm guessing a lot of things will be closed down as it is a pretty significant holiday to them, unlike Christmas. |

| Speaking of which, what is open over Seollal, 25/26/27? Do public buses still run? And restaurants? Cinemas? |

| I`m not sure as I`ve never been here for Seollal. Always managed to take a trip somewhere. I`m guessing public transit would work at the least. Not sure about every restaurants. Western ones maybe. Even Costco is closed for Seollal so it is a serious holiday because Costco usually never closes here. |
