|
|
I taught in Korea for 5 years (with an E2) and left 2 years ago. I was thinking about coming back but I`ve just been reading about all these new visa rules. I was wondering about the interview part which would be particularly difficult for me since I live about a 3-hour flight from the nearest consulate.
I`ve read that the rule is you need to do this interview if it is your first E2. Does that mean if it`s your first E2 EVER, or first E2 since the new rules (my question mark is broken)
This sucks. |

| You will not need to do the interview provided that you do not have a black mark on your immigration record (i.e. overstay). |

Thanks for the quick reply My old boss is calling her friend at immigration to check it all out. I hope he says the same thing. |

| the interview is an absolute joke!!! I had to wait a week for my interview which entailed 1 whole question "how would you motivate your students?" complete waste of my time. |
