I'm looking to get an existing suit replicated because it fits well and I'm always hard pressed to get suits here that look well-fitted. Does anyone know where I can find a decent tailor who can do this in or near Busan (preferably one that I can meet halfway language-wise)? Not looking to go crazy on the price but somewhere around the $400-500 mark.

Just had a cashmere winter coat tailored at a guy's shop in the Busanjin. It's the stop after Busan Station. The coat is amazing, the guy did an awesome job and I know he does suits and pants as well.

If you want specific directions, it's kind of hard to explain since he was in a back alley way but I'll try my best. In Busanjin market there is an underpass with a small footbridge that goes over it. There is a parking garage on one side of the street so cross over and go down an alleyway. You will make a left and see the guys shop. He has a few machines in there with all of the materials to choose from. He has tons of styles, colors, materials, fabrics, etc. Pretty cheap too, I'd say you can get a suit tailored for 300 no problem. More questions, just PM me and I'll try to explain better.

Could you possibly find it on Google maps and post the link?

Sorry for the delay guys, totally forgot about the thread.

Anyway, the place is in Busanjin. Once you get to Busanjin market on the main road, there is the main shopping building complex which I believe in the front of it says "Busan jin market." It's the largest building around so you can't miss it, especially with the writing on the front.

If you are facing it, the street to the right of it will take you down a road that has a walkway which goes over a green plastic corridor type thing (sorry hard to explain - but once you get there you'll be like ahhh, yeahh). Walk down that street towards the green walkway thing and to your left you can go down a side street. Just take that side street and it's on your right. You will see a bunch of sewing machines and materials inside.

So in summary, go to Busanjin market, head to the main shopping building and take the side street to the right of it where you will see a walkway that goes over the street with a green plastic corridor type thing. Take the left directly across from the walkway and the shop is on your right.

The guy knows little English so be sure to take your co-teacher, girlfriend/boyfriend or Korean friend with you.... and make sure you haggle, my aunt told me she got him down pretty good when he made my winter coat.

Oh and after 5 months with the coat, it's the best coat I've ever owned. Really good job by this guy.
