I thought that the school would buy me things like an iron, dishes, etc but they will only buy what is on the contract: tv, bed, and big things. Last time I was here they bought such things like dishes, pans, etc.

??? I was sure they were budgeted to buy me such things. This is a public school not under EPIK or GEPIK.

God is not being good to you. The money is being spent in 'hostess bars'. Laughing

"Article 12: Housing: If Employer provides housing to Employee, Employer should provide appliances and furniture, such as a bed, table and chairs, a closet, a gas range, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a microwave, and a TV set. Employee shall not request or demand any other appliances or furniture than those provided by Employer."

The school has a budget for purchasing the above, in compliance with the contract. In both schools I worked in, an iron, plates, cup, knives, forks spoons etc, were purchased, within the budget, as well as the aforementioned items.

God has been good to me and is still good to me: it's people that stink sometimes. So because a school doesn't buy me what I need that means nothing other than they are tight. God will be good to me despite them. He's always good to me. He will always be good to me.

I just wanted some answers devoid of mockery. Thanks for those who gave them to me.

I think Korea has bitterized some of you to the bone....

nice word you invented there...the past participle of bitter is 'bittered'

We have been bittered by our time spent here.

Perhaps "embittered" would make a better fit.

what does your contract stipulate?

does it say they'll buy you plates, cups and glasses? NO. Would you like them to buy you some PJs and some groceries too? Why don't you go and ask them to buy you a full wardrobe for school? you need clothes, right?

they bring you over to their country, they give you a fully furnished apartment and then you think they're being tight by not buying you plates. booo.

a better question would be: "where can i buy cheap plates in seoul?"
