|
|
Hello,
I've just gathered all my documents for GEPIK, but I've been informed that I need proof of employment for my two full years teaching experience here. That's okay for my job now, but my first job my employer was evading taxes and screwed me over. We did not leave on the best of terms and I doubt he'd give me anything I asked for. I'd like to get the 2.3 salary but I looks like I'll be denied if I can't prove that years experience. Does anyone know if there is a way to show proof of employment to GEPIK without having to ask my former employer for a letter directly? I tried contacting the board of education but they have no record of me most likely because of the tax thing. I can't get a proper proof of income from the tax office either and I don't have any pay stubs because they wouldn't give them to me. |

With 2 years of experience and they only offer you 2.3 mil Won? Hmmm...
Anywayz, not sure if my answer will help. Did you publish anything? You know camp workbook, newspaper article, etc....something with your name on it, that might help.
Good luck! |

Why aren't your old E2 Visas adequate enough proof? Could you get something from immigration? |

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Simply by going to IMMI they could find out when and for who you worked. There's no way of hiding it. (I tried.)
Don't know why they're trying to make you do the leg work, seems pretty lazy on their part. |

If you're going through a recruiter, ask the recruiter to contact your old boss. He won't say anything good about you, but you aren't looking for a recommendation. |
