Selling for 90,000won with case and metal hood.

The case fits the lense with the hood on perfectly. I don't want to sell just the lens because the case won't fit my other lenses.

ah right, I'm located in Jamshil.

So options for pick up location are..

1. Jamshil station or Mong-Chon-To-Sung station (In front of Olympic park)
2. Kang-byun station (Technomart)
3. Somewhere near these locations
4. I can send the lens, but I would rather the person try the lens on in person so there's no issue.

I have been seriously thinking of buying this same lens used myself before you posted it up here so I have already done the research. I have seen this sold for 100,000KRW new here in Korea although the usual price is a little higher. This lens has a great reputation as being having high quality relative to the price. If you really wanted the case and metal hood it might be an ok deal but nothing too special assuming that its in excellent condition. If you don't want that then I am sure it could be found a bit cheaper in Namdaemun. It could be found much cheaper if you are lucky to find one with small cosmetic damage that doesn't effect the optics (this is what I am hoping to find).

If it's in great cosmetic shape it's a good deal, sure the extras don't add a lot of value but you won't find too many used copies of the lens in Namdaemun (at least I didn't when I was looking for a friend), and no one was willing to sell for less than about 80k (they were all in mint condition). As for the lens itself, it really is the best bang for the buck lens that Canon makes, and I've used them all. If I wasn't already covered around 50mm I'd definitely take it cause it weighs nothing and costs next to nothing. Absolutely the best starter lens that you can buy. Good luck with the sale.

Golem: I also have a filter on it that I didn't mention. Which you will need to buy seperately (probably another 5-10 thou) The metal hood actually screws on to the lens and costs about 30 thous won. The case also goes for about 20-30 thous won. Now if I tried to sell everything seperately, I probably would get more money. Say 80 for the lens, which is what I could've sold it for on slrclub.co.kr, get maybe 10-15 for the hood and another 10-15 for the case. So I probably make a little more money, but I thought I would try to sell it all in one shot while offering a little more for the price.

But thanks for the additional information.

midiman: thanks for the info as well.
