It seems like at mine they're always building or renovating something, or working on the street that borders my school. I guess it's great that our school's got lots of grants for stuff lately, but it seems to be never-ending.

Anyone else at a school where there's been several years of constant work on something or other?

Yes. My school is almost 80 years old, so the updates are welcome. Laughing

Almost constant renovations for the passed 10 months. The entrance to the cafeteria is currently a a pile of rubble.

my school only opened in March last year, and parts of it are falling apart already, so I guess constant repairs until its finally condemned and torn down (within 5 years... my guess)

My school has been renovating lately. The English Zone will be ready long after my current contract has ended. Wonder if I'll be around to enjoy it.

Same here, new lunch room, new roads, new businesses, new everything going in right now. They built a whole new town in practically 6 months. Like the new cool street lights that turn all different colors. Probably is, there lacks a population to support it since there are no factories nearby.

Yep, ever since winter vacation started the construction started.

Half the school is being torn apart it seems. For some reason, the workers keep cutting the power to our heat and our internet too. I wouldn't be surprised if they started ripping up my classroom soon too, just like a poster in another thread mentioned. Hopefully they give me notice in a non-telepathic way though!

I have to say, our school really needs it. A good part of the school is over 100 years old.

Yes, there's always something going on. I'm particularly looking forward to the new elevator shaft in the information building and the new bridges between the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors over to building 1

My school always has extensive renovations during the breaks... and of course said renovations are never finished by the time school starts up again. This usually means rooms randomly closed, huge open sections of wall and homerooms being moved to temporary classes until things are settled down.
