THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. JUST A REVIEW OF MY EXPERIENCE
Today I went to the Seoul SIC Dental Clinic in COEX MALL.
They did a flossing, which I hadn't received at other clinics.
They are honest - told me I have a cavity but don't need work done on it
They are cheap: 50,000 for cleaning
They have NON-FLORIDE treatment gel
Nice professional Office - clean, upscale, modern
Dentist speaks English
HOW TO GET THERE: GO INTO MAIN ENTRANCE OF COEX (out of subway, past dunkin, thru doors next to movinpeck's) AND TAKE AN IMMEDIATE RIGHT - WELL SIGNED. |

That's cheap??
Did you use your medical?
Last time I was at the dentist (in Korea) I had a full check-up inlcuding x-rays and a cleaning for 10,000 won (with my medical). |

Non-fluoride??? This is good??? Wouldn't you want fluoride? Also, a cavity that doesn't need anything done to it? Then you probably really didn't even have a cavity in the first place. My coworker went to a dentist here and was told she had 9 cavities and it was totally a lie. I was once told by a dentist here that I had a cavity and I questioned it, saying I have never had a cavity in my life. Then, he hum-hawed and started asking me if I drank coffee...hahaha! I would think a cavity WOULD need to have something done to it. It isn't like the flu or cold. It won't go away. The little black hole will get bigger and blacker and work its way into your nerve, then the pain will start. I know a Korean girl who let a cavity go and go, and she lost her tooth. It's in the back, but still. Later, she told me she will get a false tooth to go in the back to replace the one she lost. I'd be wary of this place. |

"why wouldn't you want fluoride?"
Fluoride is only banned in about 60% of the industrialized nations, more don't use. It's bad for the brain and a known cancer causing agent.
Water treatment plant personnel (in the US) rallied to get a bunch of preventative measures because they were getting sick while putting fluoride in the water |

I`ve never had it that cheap...usually 40-50000 is the going rate. Or more for university hospital doctors. |
