i would say it's a scam. but you could always email the company and ask if they have a person by that name working for them |

Why would he have to advertise for someone to come from abroad to teach when he could get someone locally? With someone locally, they'd already have and provide their own place nor deal with the hassle of a non-E.U. citizen work visa. This is England we're talking about; not a non-English speaking country where foreign English teachers go. Non-E.U. citizens are the very last foreigners to get jobs in the European Union countries and employers definitely won't sponsor you to relocate you to Europe nor pay you that much in most instances.
I call bullshit on this email. |

I saw that on another recruiting website for international ESL jobs way back in October or so. Sounded highly dodgy to me then, and still does now. |

Duuuh!
I worked (in K-land) with a SDA guy whose retarded wife got hooked by the 'Son of a deposed Nigerian President' scam because the scammer claimed to be Christian. He fell for it too and transferred their life savings to a bank account in Thailand. The K-police were, understandably, not very helpful. I laughed for a week when I found out... (guess I'm going to hell). |
