Hi.. Anyway know of some nice places (clean, comfy, own bathroom, somewhat quiet, view?, fan) in Saigon (HCMCity)? I'll be based there for a few days by myself alone (a woman)... Wondered if anyone had a nice experience at a particular place... Medium priced is OK... (round $30)... Thanks if you can help!

If you don't mind the backpacker area (around Pham Ngu Lao/ De Tham) in District One, everything but the good view can be had easily for cheaper than that. ($10 was enough in 2004) There are so many there you can just show up and pick one. Convenient spot if you are unfamiliar with the city too. Many shut the door at midnight. Lots of good restaurants and bars, money changers, travel agents, etc..
