I thought this was quite nice - the little girl can speak decent Korean! From what I can see the Zayatun division in Kurdistan seem to be doing a lot of good for the local community. Better than bombing and shooting the shite out of the locals anyway! |

| That is great. One of my relatives was in the U.S. Navy, and he went to Iraq for a year with Marines. He said that most of the time, they were building structures like schools and ensuring that clean water could get to the locals. |

| Yes it must be nice to be building stuff rather than fighting. Lucky for Korea, the Kurdistan area is policed by the Kurds and is pretty autonomus, theres no love lost between Kurds and the rest of the population of Iraq, or the mideast for that matter |

S. Korean Military Officers Arrested for Bribery in Iraq
A South Korean military officer has recently been nabbed on charges of taking bribes from an Iraqi construction contractor while he was serving in the war-torn country last year, Yonhap News reported Saturday, citing military sources.

Meanwhile, Donga Ilbo Saturday raised the possibility of such a bribe-taking act in the battle field ― far away from the home country ― may have been a more widespread practice. |
