I just hosted five Korean university students at my house. They are all studying at either Mokp'o University or the Mokp'o Maritime University. We tried a conversation in English but found it easier for me to use Malay and have a Korean friend translate from Malay into Korean.

Anyone out there teaching at either one of these universities? I am interested to know if these students are normal in their English level (not very high, conversationally) or if it is because none of them were English majors, but rather major in other fields.
