Because the exchange rate is so terrible, I haven't sent any money home in over a year... so I have a pretty big nest egg saved up.

I know I will have trouble at the bank (KB*) wiring it home (its over 20,000), so is it wise just to carry it home with me in the form a cashiers check, converted to USD?

I would like to hear some expert opinion on here, especially ttompatz, who helped me a while ago.
