I am wondering what the general return policies are at places like IPark or Yongsan electronics. Do they ever accept exchanges? I don't like the mp3 player I bought today and I am wondering what my options are.

I brought it home and started loading my music and it won't accept some files. Also, I don't like the buttons. When I was trying out the buttons at the store they weren't as annoying as they are now.

I don't know about the places you mention but at Techno Mart they let me exchange something for another similar priced item in the same little area of the store. I don't think many places outside of big, established stores will let you exchange though; at least, that's my general impression. It's better to be absolutely certain that you like what you're buying beforehand. I impulse-bought a camera the other day and was kicking myself for it the next day... but now it's growing on me. Besides I got a killer deal, so I guess it's not so bad. Anyway, it's worth a try to take it back and see what happens. Let us know if you have any luck!

I should mention, it sometimes helps to come up with a plausible lie about why you are returning the item. Such as "Oh, I'm so sorry, you mean I need a computer for this mp3 player to work?" Play up the dumb foreigner angle, they can't really argue against it.
