New Thailand visa law : 30 days only for people arriving at international airport.
If you want to enter from overland it is only 15 days.
This kills people doing visas runs who live in Thailand to get 30 day extensions.
It also hurts people coming in from Loas cambodia and Vietnam as they now only get 15 days. |

Quite simple.
Go to a consulate and get a visa.
The VOA isn't technically a visa. It's permission to be in the country without having to get an official visa.
Not exactly hard to go to the consulate and get a 60 day tourist or if you are married get a 12 month multiple entry non-immigrant-o and exit the country every 3 months or get extensions at the immigration ofice
you can even extend that15 day entry at the immigration office if you wish. |
