i know this has been brought up before (by me while back)
i have a tape of some songs I wrote. would like to get it in digital format.
how can i do this? how can I input into my computer as well? |

One way is to use a phono plug cable from your cassette headphone out to your computer sound card's mic input. But keep levels low at first! You can damage it with levels far too high.
Record using a free recorder like Audacity , which can be downloaded online. Save as .mp3's. I suggest at least 160kps with audacity. |

| Don't forget to get the Lame encoder or whatever so you can export .mp3's. You'll be reminded the first time you try though. |
