Soon I will be leaving Korea, and need to find a way to ship my many books and household goods (of course, cheaply). Anyone have good suggestions on shipping companies?
It would probably be to Europe, but possibly some to Hawaii. |

| I went through Korean Postal or whatever its called....did the surface as I was in no rush. Cheap as hell. Depends on where its going but a 22kg box (dimension restrictions depending on where it goes as well) to Canada cost me $50. |

djvink, I've been trying to find the size limits for shipping boxes internationally by surface with Korea Post online. I think I found it before, but now for the life of me, I can't find it on their website.
Can you post a URL with surface package size and cost information for us, if it is not too much trouble, please?
Actually, I was also trying to find the info for shipping boxes within Korea, and couldn't find that, either. I took a three ounce box to one of those postal outlets and they charged me 4,000 won to send it 20 km, which seemed a bit odd to me. Surely there must be a cheaper way.
Thanks! |
