I am a Boston boy in heart and soul. It pains me that the Pats were 11-5 and not even in the mix. What an oddity with that record and how much parity/talent there was in the AFC East this season. I predict an all Penn. showdown this year. We'll see. |

We live in Arizona, hence the bird. My Dad who turns 82 next month is avidly looking forward to the game. It's almost like a mini super bowl to see his beloved Cardinals maybe get the big cheese. Mom and I are going along with it (thank God I'll be in Korea the end of February).
That being said, I treasure my parents, especially my Dad. He's one inch from a nursing home, but Mom and I keep that from happening. He loves his Fox News (barf), etc. My mother had to escape for a few days to get sane (called Laughlin and gambling), and I could not get him up to get to bed. Had to call our neighbors, and 6'4'' man came over to help Daddy to bed. Bless my Dad. I love him so much, but his days are numbered. He is a WWII vet, who was a volunteer out of Princeton and lied about his age. He ended up on the G.I. Bill getting his degree from Rutgers. Go figure:) He is quite a man.
I hope that the Cardinals will have in them to win the game for my Dad. |
