| I'm confused about deodorant in Korea. Is all of deodorant hard to find, or just the roll-on stuff? A Japanese friend told me that you can get spray deodorant everywhere in Korea--is this true? |

| Stick and spray are easy to find these days. They come in a smaller format and run about 50% more for a larger stick or can you're used to buying at home. All 'n' all, a year's supply is still worth your luggage space. |

They have one or two kinds of spray at Emart... Have yet to see stick there (at least in the one at Wangsimni)... Worst comes to worse you can find it in Itaewon... |

| I haven't seen the gilette gel deodorant anywhere. it takes me about 2 months to go through one, so I just bring 6 at a time. |

Hey,
I never had a problem finding deodorant but anti-perspirant was hard to come by. |

You can get it in Itaewon. From one of the convenience stores as you exit the subway and also from a cosmetics stall in Hamilton Mall (I think that's the name, it's also very near one of the subway exits).
I used to get it shipped over but I get it all from Itaewon now. The gillette gel deodorant. |

this is too true... it's easy enough to find (even if you have to go to the "black markets"), but anti-perspirant has been a bitch for me to find in daegu (one of the hotter cities in korea)...
it's fantastic when the students in the classroom shout out in surprise, "teachuh, you have wata unda your arma!" |

| I buy 2 big sticks of old spice in America for $1.98. In Seoul that is equivalent to 4 small sticks of local for 20kwon. Worth bringing a years supply in my opinion. |

Except for really hot days in the summer, I don't need it (just smelled my pit to check - nope, nothing).
My wife and my ex-girlfriends have always said I naturally have a nice smell to me. What makes people stink (especially in the winter)? Even my shoes never get funky.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess. |

| Just go to Costco, Sam`s club, Walmart, etc in the States and buy a 3 or 4 pack of Old spice, Gilette and bring that over. Definitely would last a year. |
