I'm not sure if this is the right forum so I am sorry if I posted in the wrong section. Recently, I have had some problems. About 3 to 4 weeks ago, I woke up with these two huge line/wrinkles under both eyes as well as some dark circles. I thought perhaps I just didn't sleep well, and that it would go away. Unfortuantely, it didn't. My eyes were getting puffy, sometimes during the afternoon, other times in the morning (looked like I had bawled my eyes out but I didn't), even when I got a good nights rest. The dark circles seem to be change from darker to lighter too. The wrinkles but sometimes they look worse than other times too but are pretty prominent all the time.

I went to the doctor because my face looked so bad that everyone the I was seriously ill. I thought they were joking but I looked in the mirror and they were right! Anyways, I talked to a couple of doctors and they just said I was getting old, natural aging. I looked at them in shock!! I'm 24 years old and natural aging doesn't happen overnight!!!! I mean one night I went to bed and my eye are was completely fine (nice and smooth) and I woke up in the morning and I looked horrible. One of them even had the nerve if my parents have wrinkles. Well, they may have some fine lines but THEY ARE MUCH OLDER THAN ME. It's not fair to compare my situation to my parents or grandparents. Even if I was their age, it would be normal for all these things to literally happen overnight. I am very frustrated because none of these doctors seem to know what they are talking about.

Just based on my own research, it seems that it could be a warning sign of several thing like a vitamin definciey, allergies, toxins in your body (apparently this can occur from certain molds or when you eat foods that weren't fully cooked). They didn't really test or examine anything. When I argued with them about the "getting old" theory, they simply said that it would just go away on its own. WHAT THE HELL! If it was going away on its own I wouldn't have come to you. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good clinic and doctor, perhaps in a bigger city like Daegu or Busan (not just one that speaks English but one that actually seem like a good doctor). I am seriously frustrated and don't what to do. I live in a smaller city near Deagu and Busan (about 30- 40 minutes away). I thought I should try my luck in a bigger city where they have more equiment, might actually listen to your symptoms, and examine you rather than giving up because you don't have a simple cold. I would appriecate some advice PLEASE!!!

did you go to a regular clinic? why not try going to a pibu-kwa (skin clinic)? ask any of your neighbors or co-teachers, especially women will know. the doctor is right though, unless you are breaking out in an oozing rash, there is probably not much he can do in terms of topical treatment as it may be happening for a variety of reasons incl. stress and diet and response to new air and toxins and so on.

try not to worry, that may just make it worse and it certainly won't make it better.
