I havne't travelled outside of Korea yet.
I know I gotta get the multi-entry visa. But are there any other details that I need to know? can i possibly be denied boarding? could i be denied re-entry?
I checked, but I don't think I need to get any shots. |

Yes, they're are two vital things for you to remember.
1) Pack me into your luggage, make it extra large, I'm a heavy fellow!
2) Lose your return ticket and make the big bucks there, and have a better experience doing it!
Enjoy,

I went there for New Year's two years ago. It will be BUSY. HK won't be so bad for hotels, but don't got to Macau unless you book a hotel in advance. There will be a lot of mainland Chinese tourists.
Go to any immigration office and pay the W60,000 for the multiple re-entry stamp during a weekday. Then you're set til your visa expires. |

question
is it cold in hong kong?
I'm from canada, so the cold doesn't bother me. but it's like freezing in korea right now. what's it gonna be like in hong kong?
and I really doubt they're sideways. maybe slanted, but not sideways |

When I was there two years ago it went from about 12C at night to 22C during the day, but was often overcast and foggy, with occasional random showers. |

Be careful not to eat any meat you find lying around on the street or the HK dog poisoner might get you. |

yeah, the star ferry is one of the best and cheapest parts of the hong kong experience. they also have the light/laser show. catch it from the kowloon side. a bar called the felix at the top of the peninsula hotel would be a great place to catch it with a date. lkf for after hours fun. |

I thought all E-2 visas were multiple entry by default. Am I wrong on that? |

i'm guessing the multi-entry visa depends on country
i know my canadian passport/e2 visa has an S on it.
by the way, does anyone have any suggestions for sights to see or things to do while in HK? i haven't been there in a long long long long time. |

You can NOT get a multiple entry visa from just any Immigration office. This being high tech the most advanced country on earth, means you can only get one from the immigration office where your original visa was issued OR the airport, but then again it may depend on who you get on the day. |
