Yes, it appears that your co-teacher is the keeper of your personal documents. He/she is free to share and openly discuss the information with other K-teacher with or without your consent.

LOL, yes mine has made a special sling that hangs on her front so she cradle my documents as she slithers from class to class. I like to think it's because she wants to feel close to me.

But seriously. . .no. As far as I'm aware, all my application stuff went directly to the local office of education. I certainly haven't seen anything floating around at any of my schools. And, if anything was there, I probably would have seen it as my schools are so small you couldn't even attempt any kind of cat swinging activity.

Mine carries it around whenever we need to go do something official somewhere. It makes sense since she's new to the process of "handling" me and never knows what paperwork is needed to do what.

Every company you work at has a file on you. Usually they keep it in a closet/cabinet and on their computer system and pulls it up when necessary.

All my docs are in a cupboard in her (our) office.
Sure pulls them out when needs be, but doesn't keep them on her person.

Though when she and her husband invited me round for dinner, I saw a framed photo of me on the mantlepiece, that was a lil wierd Wink

Mine can't be that at-the-ready since they're always asking for more copies of them.

Thanks everyone for your import. I knew I could depend on you for feedback. :D I thought it was peculiar for her to be carrying them around sometimes and leaving them on her desk during other times. I guess that it is just her habit of doing things. No big deal since other teachers have experienced a similar thing with their teachers. Maybe next time, I will politely suggest to her that it may not be a good idea to leave my personal information on her desk during class since it might get lost of something. Other than that, she is tolerable to work with. Now, winter camp is over, and I am on my way to buy a few big bottles of beer and ..

Perhaps next time your documents are on her desk and she is not around, snatch them.

If she asks you about the documents, tell her you didn't want them lying around, return them, and ask her to make sure she doesn't give you the opportunity to snatch them again.

There should be a SECURED FILE but not a situation with someone loosely carrying your personal documents and records.

Talk to this "co-teacher" about the proper way to secure your important personal information. Wink

Since when did co-teachers get to keep anyones private stuff. All docs. are sent to immi. or the POE not held by a co-teacher. Is she dressing-up for you have you noticed?

It's definitely strange. Another pleasure of Korea.
