My wife and I are going to Korea soon and we were wondering how other people go about paying bills at home, i.e. student loans etc.
Can you access the internet sites that you would normally pay a bill electronically from in Korea?
Or should we just send money home via another way?
Thanks |

| I have just arrived in Korea. I am able to access my credit union account and my bill payer account. Before you leave, you may want to set up automatic payments for recurring bills such as student loans, mortgage, and so on. That way, the bill is paid every month without your having to do anything. This presumes that you have a stream of income in the U.S. or a sufficient balance in your account to cover these bills each month. Good luck and welcome to Korea. |

How do I set up my Korean account online? I'm with Shinhan or NH bank. I can't remember which. Can you pay bills directly from your Korean account? Don't you get hit with service fees?
Tgis could save me a lot of money in service charges. |

Some Korean banks have exorbitant fees.,...Kb charged me $40 a pop for every transfer.
KEB charges me $5 |
