Does anyone have any good number games to give students practice at saying larger numbers?

The only fun one I have is Hi-Low. I bring in a picture (or draw one) of something expensive, like a Rolex watch, a diamond necklace or a refrigerator and have students guess the price. After each guess (written on the board) I tell them if it is too high or too low. It takes 10-15 minutes to play the entire round and my adult students enjoy it. Sometimes we start a game on Monday and do one round a day till someone guesses the right price. (We do it once to practice dollars and cents and a few other times in Won so they can practice big numbers.)

Any other ideas?

I always offer this game The Price is Right ToysRus version. for number practice. I have other versions on EFL Classroom including won versions from ehyundai.co.kr Make sure they play in groups and use a whiteboard to guess the price.

However these are prices. I have Deal or No Deal games for really high numbers and they work well if you get the students to state the dollar numbers and not just the suitcase numbers. They are in our Powerpoint games section or Click the PLAY tab and select Arcade. The version there is super cool and just like the game show.

my students call it 3, 6, 9

i usually only go to 100, but you can go as high as you'd like.

make a cycle of students around the room. write the order on the board if that makes it easier for your students. the first student says "1", the next "2", the next claps once, the next says "4", then "5", then clap, then "7"...etc. every time there is a 3, 6 or 9 in the number, a student claps instead of saying the number. and if it has one of each [i.e. 36, 63or 99, etc] the student claps twice. you clap all the way through the 30s, 60s, and 90s, but the students have to really pay attention so that they know if they are suppose to clap once or twice.

if a student claps when they aren't supposed to, or says a number when they aren't supposed to, they're out of the game.

you could make variations [2, 4, 6 or whatever] so that they get practice on all of the numbers.
